GNU SPEAK

What’s gnu?
Well, it’s a wildebeest, actually-a type of African antelope. And in our brave gnu world, a gnu stands in for the word NEW. Each of the 12 pictures below represents a familiar word or phrase containing new. For example, an illustration of a gnu serving dark, red wine would give you NEWPORT (gnu port), while a gnu holding a ishing reel would be NEWSREEL (gnu’s reel). Note that among the answers there are a few homophones included in addition to all the “gnus.” If you can identify 10 or more of these terms, you’ve sure got a gnu lease on life!
